Dr. Elisa Floriani, OMPT Physiotherapist
OMPT Physiotherapist – Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation, Coordinator of Dolomiti Athletic Center
Experience and Education
After practicing various sports for many years—from dance to running and mountain sports—the desire to help people achieve their athletic goals after an injury led me to pursue a career as a physiotherapist. Never settling for less is the principle that guides my work every day.
Active listening and patient education, combined with manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, represent the cornerstones of my rehabilitation approach.
I am originally from Trentino and chose to study in South Tyrol because of my deep connection to the mountains. I graduated in Physiotherapy from the Claudiana University of Applied Health Sciences in Bolzano in 2017 and obtained my title as an Orthopedic Manipulative Physical Therapist (OMPT) from the University of Savona in 2019. Since then, I have attended numerous postgraduate courses, considering continuous professional development an essential foundation of physiotherapy practice.
I worked at the MR Physio rehabilitation center in Bolzano (2018–2019) and later at J Medical Clinic in Turin, collaborating with Juventus F.C. teams (2019–2021), where I was able to further develop and refine my expertise in sports physiotherapy and return-to-sport rehabilitation, including on-field experience. I also followed several athletes from the Golden Team Ceccarelli ski team through their pre- and post-operative pathways and long-term maintenance programs.
In 2021, together with my husband and colleague Francesco Latragna, I launched the physiotherapy service at Dolomiti Sportclinic. In 2026, the clinic decided to open a new center dedicated exclusively to orthopedic and sports rehabilitation: Dolomiti Athletic Center. We are proud of this new project, born from close collaboration with Dolomiti Sportclinic, with the goal of creating a place where the highest standards of rehabilitation are delivered.
